Frequently Asked Questions and Answers: These pertain to the Arizona Program

1. How often does the group meet?

Once a month from August until May with an optional conference in the summer.

2. What is required of parents?

Parents will help provide food for the meetings and retreat and be encouraged to help during special events like the Vera Bella Ball.

3. What is required of the attendees?

Full and active participation and an openess to learning and building Christ-centered relationships.

4. What age do you have to be?

Girls who will be in 8th through 12th grades (between the ages of 13-18) during the program year.

5. Do you have to be Catholic to join?

No, but the program will be designed around Catholic teaching.

6. Are there opportunities for scholarships to attend the program?

There may be some scholarships which will be announced via email to those registered. In addition, many girls have raised their own scholarships by writing a letter of need to their Parish Priest or a Parish ministry.

7. Is Vera Bella a non-profit?

No. We are considering the option.

8. What is the refund policy?

If an attendee attends three or more days of the program, there will be no refund. If the attendee misses more than two days of the program or misses the retreat without a dire reason and is dropped from the program, there will be no refund.

9. How much does the program cost?

$50- non-refundable registration fee that goes towards the total fee of $200 which includes the meetings and retreat. 

10. Where will the meetings be held?

Most meetings will be held in Scottsdale. For safety reasons, we will announce actual location only to those registered for the program. The retreat will be held in town at a retreat center in Phoenix.
